First Draft of New Beetlejuice Fanfiction

(Disclaimer) I do not own the characters from the movie Beetlejuice, or the cartoon, or anything recognized under Warner Brothers, the Geffen company, Tim Burton or elsewhere.

Chapter 1:

In truth, Betelgeuse was a liar. In lie, Juno didn't know the truth about him. 

Actually, she knew Betelgeuse very well. She knew he was not the average ghost, nor was he a ghoul, nor was he a poltergeist. Sometimes she wished she could tell people what he really was, why he was cursed, but they were told never to reveal a demon to the outside world. Why? Well, some would call him on purpose for their evil doings. In religious belief, or what little she knew of it, Betelgeuse would be despised highly. But if they understood, he wasn't born a demon, he was made one by his own choices. A limbo demon, someone who dies and becomes completely (mostly) corrupt.  Demons were capable of much, including, but not limited to: possession, killing in dark ways, murdering ghosts, exorcism of the living, exorcism of the dead, a form of power (juice, dark magic, or other), mind control, special powers (strength, x-ray vision, etc.) and much much more. 

Betelgeuse was able to do much. Things such as: some of the things listed, the special power of persuasion, and his smell. Persuasion, was his key element and boy did he ever use it...

Writing Prompts: Paranormal Horror

A. 3rd Person: (paranormal, gore, horror) A lonely teenager starts using a Ouija Board and supposedly starts talking to a ghost who just wants to talk. After a while, it becomes obvious (to the reader) she's talking to a demon, and it wants more...

B. 1st Person(paranormal, mystery, crime, horror): Someone thinks they're being stalked by someone, but whenever they try to get proof it never shows up.

C. 3rd Person (paranormal, humor horror) : A group of teenagers on a bus on a seven hour field trip have their bus hijacked by a poltergeist/demon and are held hostage on the moving hell bus.

D. Possessed ferret/cat/dog/mouse/rat/hamster is let loose in a school.

E: Phantom of the opera styled romance horror between Beetlejuice and Lydia. (watch Beetlejuice movie)

F. Three jocks accidentally kill a punk/gothic/nerdy/other girl and she begins to haunt them. One of the jocks will learn their lesson and discover that she was only in a coma and she can be cured. Another of the jocks doesn't learn and will be haunted till he commits suicide. The other will dismiss that fact she exists and stumbles upon the dead body of his friend and goes psycho.

Suddenly lights are off,

You heard a dry cough,

Terror splits through you like a spear.

It's coming to get you.

Your muscle's burn,

Where's the foe.

It pierces through you like a knife.

Dear God, I want you to protect me, please save me, I beg you. I'm sorry for defying you, please save me, please do. I'll never do it again, just save me, please.

The Debate of Ouija Boards...

I did the unspeakable and used an online Ouija Board. Why, because as a human we are naturally curious and that is of course, what we do. It was one on Brain Jar, Ouija Board Online, should be one of the first results if you search it. Well, what happens is you type in your question and guide your mouse over the shaking pointer for an answer. It can give you these generic answers, and you laugh, knowing it's taking it from a list of possible answers, but then, it began to spell out specific answers, and you get uneasy. Suddenly it knows your age, name, and where your from. You know somewhat about it, but not much.

It tries to drag the pointer across the board, through the alphabet, but you exit, and what is going through you mind is what did you just do. In answer, you were human, and you had to look.

Next time, I'll keep a running record of the conversation that I'm going to have at midnight. I have school tomorrow, but I'll be fine, I'll manage.

We all debate the danger or Ouija Boards, and if you read this and you are considering trying an online one or buying one. Consider the pro's and con's.

Pro's

• You contacted a ghost.
• You have done something risky.
• You aren't that scared.
• You are "cool."

Con's

• What you just contacted has a ten percent chance of being a ghost and not a demon.
• Betelgeuse does exist, Beetlejuice fans, so do the other demons from movies, BUT... they are a million times worse then they appear on the screen.
• If your wondering, Betelgeuse is much like the Michael Dowell's original version.
• It will try to escape.
• Most of you will panic and let it escape.
• Now you have a demon in your house.
• If your a virgin, female, or both. Your death or innocence taken risk has just increased, run.
• You trip, or realise it can go through walls, you're screwed.
• Congratulations, you are screwed times ten.
• Are you still alive?
• Oh, so nothing happened. 
• Good, now will you listen to this next con.
• You get addicted to the feeling one gives off.
• They get addicted to your energy.
• You stop using one.
• They get really mad.
• Like an abusive relationship.

What to do when you start an online session?

1. Say your prayers, bless yourself, whatever religion you follow, do what you want. 
2. Set it up, get to the site.
3. Gather some friends, or not.
4. Ask if anyone is there.
5. Ask simple questions and build confidence.
6. If ghoul starts getting irritated, or doesn't do much, say goodbye.
7. If you think it's going okay, continue.
8. After 30 minutes, stop.
9. Don't continue.
10. Really, don't.
11. The longer you're on it, it's too bad.
12. Your done, wait 72 centuries before trying again.

Basically, don't play it anymore.

SERIOUSLY, DON'T PLAY IT!!!

I was freaked, don't trust the ghosts.

They want to get on your good side, so you keep doing it. Then they will take over you. Just stop right now. That session at midnight isn't going to happen.
